What is a SEBI-registered Expert?
A SEBI Research Analyst (RA) or Investment Advisor (RIA) registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India under the Research Analysts Regulations, 2014 (as amended December 2024). KuberHunt only lists Experts whose registration we have verified against SEBI records.
Is it safe to subscribe to an Expert on KuberHunt?
Yes. Every Expert holds valid SEBI registration, signs digital consent agreements with each subscriber, and operates under platform-enforced fee caps. KuberHunt never holds your demat or executes trades — Experts deliver advisory; you decide and execute through your broker.
What is the maximum fee a SEBI Expert can charge?
SEBI rules cap advisory fees at ₹1,51,000 per family per year across all SEBI-registered Experts a household subscribes to. KuberHunt enforces this cap automatically.
What is a Modelfolio and how does it work?
A Modelfolio is a curated, multi-stock model portfolio published and rebalanced by an Expert. You see the full holdings after subscribing, replicate it in your own demat using the published weights, and receive rebalance Recos from the Expert.
How do I get a refund if I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions can be cancelled any time. Unused periods are auto-refunded based on the SEBI quarterly advance-fee rule — there are no annual lock-ins on KuberHunt.
What is the difference between an RA and an Investment Advisor (RIA)?
A SEBI Research Analyst publishes Recos and research; an Investment Advisor provides personalised investment advice. KuberHunt labels each Expert with the appropriate badge (SEBI RA or SEBI RIA) so you know which kind of service is on offer.
How does KuberHunt verify Experts?
